Computer Systems Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance

Dust and dirt can be the death of your computer systems. We can evaluate how frequently your systems need cleaning according to the environment they are in. Obviously systems in clean offices need less cleaning then systems in factories and industrial environments. Regular servicing will prolong the life of your computer systems, and reduce the number of breakdowns.

We clean both inside and outside the computer system, and carry out health checks. As part of the servicing we check that all security patches, updates, and bug fixes have been applied.

As part of the cleaning process we also sanitise your system. It has been proven germs from keyboards & telephones will cause a higher level of absenteeism due to illness.

Main Unit - The case is cleaned with a computer safe cleaner, the inside is cleaned using computer safe compressed air to remove dust from boards, fans, and power supplies. Dust and dirt on the boards and fans will cause overheating and result in permanent damage to computers if not regularly removed. Whilst cleaning the internal fans will be checked, as fans often fail without warning, thus causing an overheating problem.

Monitors - The case is cleaned using a computer safe cleaner, and the glass view area cleaned with an antistatic computer screen cleaner.

Keyboards - The keyboard is cleaned using a computer safe cleaner, to remove dirt from keys, and dust and crumbs are blown from the inside of the keyboard so keys make better contact, and have a more positive feel, thus reducing keying errors.

Mice - The case of the mouse is cleaned to remove dirt from the outside, the roller ball and sensors are cleaned on the inside of the mouse making it run smoothly. This gives more accurate control of the mouse pointer, thus eliminating a jumpy mouse.

Printers - The case is cleaned using a computer safe cleaner. Dust, dirt, and toner are removed from the inside which often results in a cleaner print.

Scanners - The case is cleaned using a computer safe cleaner. The glass area is cleaned using an anti static glass cleaner, making for a cleaner sharper scanned image.

Fax Machines - The case is cleaned using a computer safe cleaner. The glass area is cleaned using an anti static glass cleaner, making for a cleaner sharper scanned image, and removing those annoying lines from dirt and Tipp-ex on the scanning bar.

Ancillary devices - All ancillary devices such as speaker, hubs, switches, routers, access points, etc can also be cleaned.

Telephones - We can also clean and sanitise telephones, thus reducing the risk of infection from germs building up on the handset, as well as making them look more presentable.
